ROUND 10  SILVERSTONE 28/29/30

WE ARIVED AT SILVERSTONE RACE TRACK AND THOUGHT WHOOO THIS IS BIG 3.7 MILES AND NEVER SEEN THE PLACE BEFORE.

AFTER A TEAM CHAT BEN WAS SET FOR Q1 WHICH HE WAS  LOOKING FORWARD TO WITH ALL THE IMPUT AND SETTINGS FROM THE TEAM  QUALIFYING 1 WENT WELL   20TH  VERY HAPPY  SATURDAY CAME QUALIFYING 2 AND BEN EXCELLED FINISHING 13TH  OVERALL SO VERY EXCITED FOR THE RACE IF BEN COULD KEEP THIS UP !!!

ROUND 9 DONINTON PARKGP 21/23/24

AFTER A LONG THINK ABOUT THE REST OF THE SEASON BEN AND I HAD BEEN APPROACHED BY MIKE @BMC RACING AND AFTER SEVERAL TALKS WE /BEN DECIDED TO GO WITH BMC RACING AS BEN NEEDED A CHANGE OF TECHNICAL HELP AND I REALISED I COULD NOT  AND WAS NOT ABLE TO GIVE HIM SO WE JOINED UP WITH BMC RACING MIKE HAS BEEN RUNNING LEON JEACOCK#55 AND HAD MANY FANTASTIC   RESULTS FORM 400CC CHAMPION  RACING TO WHERE THEY ARE TODAY SO WE CHANGED BIKE FROM THE ZX6R  TO THE YAMAHA R6 FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON .

WE ARRIVED AT DONINGTON RACE TRACK TO A VERY NICE AND WELL COME  TEAM ATMOSPHERE 

AFTER A TEAM CHAT BEN WAS SET FOR Q1 WHICH HE WAS  LOOKING FORWARD TO WITH ALL THE IMPUT AND SETTINGS FROM THE TEAM  QUALIFYING 1 WENT WELL   17TH  VERY HAPPY  SATURDAY CAME QUALIFYING 2 AND BEN EXCELLED FINISHING 16TH  OVERALL SO VERY EXCITED FOR THE RACE IF BEN COULD KEEP THIS UP !!!

GOOD START FROM BEN PUSHING ALL THE WAY AND  A FANTASTIC FINISH FOR HIM  19TH BEATING SOME VERY GOOD RIDERS AND TEAMS WELL DONE BEN TOP RESULT 

ROUND 8 BRANDS HATCH 20/21/22 

THIS WAS NOT WHAT WE HAD EXPECTED AFTER ONLY RACING ON THE INDY TRACK PREVIOUSLY EARLIER IN THE YEAR  THEY DECIDED TO  WARM UP ON THE INDY AND Q1/2 ON THE FULL TRACK WHICH I THOUGHT WAS  A BIT STRANGE AS TO START PUSHING IN QUALIFYING  ON A TRACK YOU HAVENT BEEN ON ONLY WALKED WELL IT HAD TO HAPPEN BEN WENT DOWN AT DINGLE DARE  VERY FAST PART OF THE TRACK,BEN ONLY HAD 3 LAPS IN Q1 AND MISSED THE REST OF THE DAY AS WE HAD TO SORT THE BIKE OUT  AND WAS NOT READY FOR Q2.

EVN THOUGH BEN ONLY GOT 3 LAPS IN HE STILL MANAGED TO QUALIFY  Wooo!!! 31ST SECOND ROW FROM THE BACK  BUT STILL IN THERE !!!!RACE DAY CAME AND BEN PUSHED HARD FROM THE BACK TO FINISH  25TH WELL DONE AFTER SUCH A HARD WEEK END 

ROUND 7 OULTON PARK 6/7/8 TH JULY

THIS WAS AN IMPORTANT  ROUND FOR BEN BEING BACK A OULTON HAD TO PUT SOME THOUGHTS  TO REST .

QUALIFYING DIDNT GO TO GOOD FOR BEN AS HE MANGED 28TH ON THE GRID FOR RACE DAY ,BEN FINISHED A STRONGE 19TH IN THE RACE AFTER A HARD WEEK END AT A TRACK THAT HAD UP SET THE START OF THE SEASON . 

ROUND 6 KNOCK HILL 22/23/24

THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME BACK ON THE BIKE  FOR BEN AFTER HIS OUT OF THE SEAT MOMENT AT OULTON PARK WHICH PUT PAYED TO MISSING THE PREVIOUS ROUNDS .

BEN HAD NOT BEEN TO THIS TRACK BEFORE SO ANOTHER LEARNING POINT FOR HIM .

THE WEATHER WASNT GOOD IN Q2 BUT BEN WAS 13TH FASTEST IN THE WET  ,HOW EVER Q1 WAS DRY AND FIRST TIME BACK BEN WAS DOWN THE ORDER SO HAD TO START  A FRUSTRATING 28TH  ON THE GRID FRO RACE DAY.

RACE  DAY ARRIVED AND BEN MAD GOOD PROGRESS PUSHING HARD THOUGHT THE FIELD AND WAS UP TO 17TH PLACE WHEN THE RACE WAS RED FLAGGED AFTER 8 LAPS IN ,THE RACE WAS RESTARTED AND BEN GOT A GREAT START !!!INTO THE FIRST CORNER AND GOT TOOK OUT ON THE FIRST LAP OF THE RESTART .BAD LUCK LAD ....

ROUND 5 SNETTERTON 300 25/26/27

BEN WAS STILL INJURED AND UN FIT  TO RACE AT THIS ROUND TO HIS DISAPPOINTMENT

DONINGTON  MAY 11/12/13 (WSBK)

BEN WAS UNABLE TO COMPETE IN THIS ROUND DUE TO INJURY 

                                                                                                                                      

   ROUND 4 DONNINGTON  PARK ,MAY 11/12/13 TH 

WORLD SUPERBIKE ROUND 

DUE  TO INJURY BEN FROM OULTON PARK WAS UNABLE TO COMPETE IN THIS ROUND 

Round 3 Oulton park
Ben  has raced at this track in the past and has had a win in the Derby Phoenix 400cc formula championship last year so first time on a track he no`s expectation were high from Ben.
Free practice went OK Ben had a few issues with the bike so we had 100% suspension take  a look for him Colin was very helpful and soon sorted the bike for him which was out by a long way so we used them all day and Ben just got faster  thank you guys .

Ben was 17th fastest on the Saturday  and  22nd on the Sunday but was still faster than Saturday even with break fade so we put new pads in for Monday warm up  the old pads had glazed so his breaking points were hard to get right .
Monday warm up Ben was unlucky going round lap 3 he lost the back end which spat him off his race bike    
and was  unable to compete in  the main race Ben has had surgery on his right hand and is very disappointed to have to miss the next round  4 at Donnington  Park World super bike support race

Well come to round 2 Thruxton.       
Friday Round two was going to be a real challenge for me as it was another  there track I have `t  been to.
The weather was  sunny and dry so I had a great free practice in the morning ,and was ready for Q1  which went really well for me ,the track was very fast and getting to grips with the track was demanding however I finished in 19th place  I had a few issues but was confident I could get around them for Q2 .
Saturday was miserable rain damp and cold ,Dad held me back for the last 8 mins of Q2 as we new no one would beat Q1 lap times but I need to do a few sighting laps in the rain to settle me for race day if it was to continue to rain.
Sunday race day was dry clear and the sun was out, the light went out and I made a rough start front end came up and I lost a few slots into the first corner, the race settled down and I got a couple of places back getting a personal best lap time 1.21.5 then my clutch started to slip and made it hard to maintain the pace I had just got to, I kept going best the bike would let me and went over the line in 20th position very happy first top 20 finish how ever I think I could have got  a couple of places more.

Hi all
Brands Hatch Indy 6-9 April  first round of the 
This was my first time at this track and after walking it I thought this could be interesting .
The cambers and corner lines looked nice so all was set in my thoughts  for  the first Friday practice which went OK.

Saturday first qualifying weather dry ,I was going really well and was getting to grips with the circuit and getting in some good lap times qualifying in  9th , until I went down on paddock hill no fault of my own but that's racing .

Sunday was dry for Q2 and after a hard day Dad , John and Leon,s race team got my bike back together (many thanks guys ) I finished in 27th place on the grid for race day.

Bank Holiday Monday race day.

Weather was horrible rain rain and yes more rain......

Lights went out and the race was set I made a great start from the lights up from 27th into 15th place in the first two laps ,two more and I was in 12th ..... the bike felt really good as i don't mind the rain but it was a wash out there conditions were terrible as i tipped into surtees i lost the front and went down ,

all well roll on Thruxton .
